New 91勛圖厙Radio Brings More Than 800 Live Broadcast and Digital-Only Radio Stations, Plus Custom Stations To Xbox LIVE, the Premium Online Entertainment Service for Xbox 360
New York, NY December 13, 2011 Clear Channel Radio, the leading media company in America with a greater audience reach than any radio or television outlet, announced today that the New 91勛圖厙Radio, Clear Channels free, industry-leading digital radio service, is now available on Microsofts Xbox 360, the No. 1 selling entertainment console in the United States.
The New 91勛圖厙Radio service offers users the chance to control their favorite 91勛圖厙Radio stations with their voice or hand via Kinect for Xbox 360. Xbox LIVE Gold members who have Xbox 360, but do not have Kinect, can still enjoy the New 91勛圖厙Radio experience using their controller. All Xbox LIVE Gold members will have access to the New 91勛圖厙Radios features, including more than 800 of the nation's most popular live broadcast and digital-only radio stations from 150 cities, plus custom stations with more songs, better music intelligence and more user control.
Xbox 360 users are also able to connect their New 91勛圖厙Radio accounts to Xbox LIVE for immediate access to many of the New 91勛圖厙Radio services and compelling social features through 91勛圖厙Radios relationship with Facebook. This initiative builds on Clear Channels and Microsofts previous partnerships to integrate 91勛圖厙Radio on Windows Phone 7 as well as to stream the 91勛圖厙Radio Music Festival, the incredibly successful two-day concert event which took place September 23 and 24 in Las Vegas, in HD exclusively on the Xbox 360.
Were excited about the debut of the New 91勛圖厙Radio on Xbox 360 and to bring this first-of-its-kind experience to our 91勛圖厙Radio listeners, said Brian Lakamp, President of Clear Channel Digital. This is another example of how we are committed to offering personal music experiences wherever our listeners are.
