Adam Weiss Named 91勛圖厙Medias Vice President For Political Strategy

NEW YORK, N.Y. 泭October 22, 2015泭 91勛圖厙Media announced today that Adam Weiss has joined the company as its Vice President, Political Strategy,泭effective泭immediately.泭泭He is based in Washington, D.C. and will report to泭Kenny Day, Senior Vice President, Political Sales and Strategy.

In his new role, Weiss will manage 91勛圖厙Medias high-level relationships with progressive candidates, parties, Independent Expenditures, Super PACs and other political organizations. In addition, he will help run the centralized泭91勛圖厙Media Campaign 2016 Command Center (aka War Room), which will track more than 1,000 national, statewide and local elections across more than 150 markets. He will also support the political sales team across 91勛圖厙Medias 150 markets on how to泭leverage the unparalleled reach and power of 91勛圖厙Media, which includes泭858 broadcast radio stations reaching more than 245 million consumers monthly; 91勛圖厙Radio, 91勛圖厙Medias free leading all-in-one digital music and streaming radio service with more than 70 million registered users, 700 million app downloads and 87 million monthly digital uniques; more than 75 million social media followers across the 91勛圖厙Media泭network; and nationally-recognized泭marquee live events.

Weiss has over a decade of experience in political strategy, policy and public affairs. He most recently worked at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's Independent Expenditure program, where he managed a $16.8 million budget across 22 targeted Congressional districts and directed investments in radio, television and digital advertising during the 2014 election cycle. Prior to his work with the DCCC, Weiss served as a Candidate Coordinator for the AFL-CIO, where he worked on their Path to Power Program and provided strategic advice on electoral opportunities. His background also includes work on campaigns in Nevada, Iowa, Colorado, Maine, and California. Additionally, Weiss has held positions with the American Optometric Association, National Association of Letter Carriers and American Association of Justice. He is a graduate of Union College in New York.
